Four UK Team Leaders Chosen for the Workshop!
They are: Bernadette Deddens, Gero Grundmann, Guy Robinson and Matthew Harrison.
Four designers who have graduated from the Royal College of Art and trained at the Helen Hamlyn Centre have confirmed that their participation as team leader of the Workshop.
Bernadette Deddens, a fashion accessories designer who collaborates with fashion designers and works on self initiated projects from her London-based studio, will be working with her team to design products for the Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Canton Sarajevo. Gero Grundmann, a graphic and communication designer, Research Associate of the Helen Hamlyn Centre and co-founder of Studio Bec and his team will be working on creating a collection of graphic products for Pismolik. The team working to design metal products for Librag will be lead by Guy Robinson, co-founder of Sprout Design Ltd. which focuses on innovative and responsibly designed products in the areas of sustainable and inclusive design. Matthew Harrison, who co-founded Studiohead, which has undertaken a wide range of projects, with a particular emphasis on user-centered design, will be leading the team that will design leather products for the Center for Self-Reliance.
